Day 1: 9 May, 2015 Saturday – Arrival in CAPE TOWN & Welcome Dinner

Arrive in Cape Town for The Pursuit 2015, Amateur Golf Tournament
Meet & Greet at the Airport & Transfer to Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel
Check in & rest of day at leisure
19:00 hrs – Welcome dinner at a lovely restaurant at the V&A Waterfront with a 3 course menu & drinks
21:30 hrs – Transfer back to the hotel
Day 2: 10 May, 2015 Sunday – Explore the Cape Point

Explore the splendour of cape peninsula near Cape town – an awe inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are all part of what you’ll see today. Included in today’s program is the Seal Island tour – cruise weather permitting, drive via the Chapman’s Peak onto the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Stroll down to Cape Point to see the actual tip of the peninsula where the Atlantic and Indian oceans collide. Step on to the Flying Dutchman Funicular which transports visitors up a steep slope to the top lighthouse with its spectacular views over False Bay. On the way back to Cape Town, visit Simon’s Town on the False Bay Coast for a look around and have lunch at this quaint town and head to Boulder’s Beach to see the town’s cute colony of African penguins. Return to Cape Town by 18:00 hrs. This full day tour will not disappoint you – with it rugged landscape & dramatic scenery.
Day 3: 11 May, 2015 Monday – Golf at Arabella Golf Course

Head out to Hermanus in the morning
10:30 hrs onwards – Golf at the Arabella Golf Course with green fee, shared buggy and on course snack
After golf, head back to Cape Town

Robben Island is “home” to one of the world’s most famous prisoners, statesmen and leader’s in Nelson Mandela. Robben Island is quite possibly most well known island-prison on the planet. Besides being a prison island, it is also a World Heritage Site some 9km (5.5mi) offshore from Cape Town. It was dubbed “Robben” (the Dutch word for seal) Island by early settlers in reference to the seal population at the time. Over the centuries, the island has housed a prison, hospital, mental institution, leper colony and a military base. Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of the 27 years of his incarceration imprisoned on the island.
In the afternoon, have a drive thru city orientation tour and stop by at the Green Market Square for shopping or transfer to Canal Walk for shopping.
Day 4: 12 May, 2015 Tuesday – A Winelands Classic Experience

Start your morning by taking a trip to the Table Mountain for its awesome views (weather permitting) and then head towards the beautiful winelands area and experience the true winelands classic. Enjoy your day sampling some fantastic wines and enjoy a picnic lunch in a winelands estate with a mouth watering array of home made pates & spreads, accompanied by artisan cheeses, cold cuts, pickles and baguette, Mini quiches, olives & saucissons, Mini milktart & chocolate brownies with white chocolate nuggets. Then explore another wine estate to sample more South African wine – get ready for a tipsy day!
Day 5: 13 May, 2015 Wednesday – A scenic drive along the Garden Route to next destination – GEORGE

Check out of the Cape Town Hotel
Transfer to George – 5 hours drive along the beautiful Garden route with fantastic views of the mountains and the ocean
Arrive in George and check into Protea King George Hotel

Enjoy a 3 course set menu dinner at the hotel
Day 6: 14 May, 2015 Thursday – Golf in Pinnacle Point Golf Club
Golfers
Head out to Mossel Bay in the morning
10:30 hrs onwards – Golf at the Pinnacle Point Golf Club with green fee, shared buggy and on course snack
After golf, head to Mossel Bay seaside
Enjoy a 3 course set menu dinner at a lovely restaurant by the Mossel Bay beach
Return to George after dinner
Non Golfers
An hour from George, at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley, lies the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo – the Cango Caves. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains, you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations. Take a standard tour of the Cango Caves and see the magnificent 20-million years old cave system. Then head towards the Ostrich Farm and see the Ostriches in action – you can even ride one if you wish and provided you can stay on it!
After sightseeing, head to Mossel Bay seaside
Enjoy a 3 course set menu dinner at a lovely restaurant by the Mossel Bay beach
Return to George after dinner
Day 7: 15 May, 2015 Friday – Golf in Simola Golf Club & Prize Distribution

Head out to Kynsna in the morning
10:30 hrs onwards – Golf at the Simola Golf Club with green fee, shared buggy and on course snack
Prize distribution ceremony after golf at the Simola Golf Club with Hi-Tea and drinks
Head back to George

Day 8: 16 May, 2015 Saturday – Departure from GEORGE AIRPORT

Today, the program ends in George. Get transferred to George Airport for your departure flight or carry on with some fantastic safari extensions.
